Roshek Building - Workplace Amenity Improvement

The historic Roshek Brothers Department Store was purchased by Dubuque base Cottingham & Butler and HTLF Bank. The project focused on the creation of inspiring amenity spaces to retain and attract employees. A new auditorium and fitness center was constructed in the basement. Two new cafes in the historic lobby serve diverse food options and create a space for employees to socialize, network, and enjoy a quick bite. Topping it off is a new rooftop addition with views of the beautiful river and bluffs.

The project was design to meet the Department of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation and seamlessly blends the buildings historic character with modern functionality and aesthetics.
